Insights for Action that Will Save Lives

The building blocks of the ACES revolution are everywhere:  accelerometers in mobile phones, cameras at intersections, low-energy tracking devices underneath bicycle seats, and the endless stream of data being ingested, digested, rejected, and collected.  The science of transportation safety relies on data and responds to trends but now it can be done in near-real-time, with almost any modern vehicle, whether being operated by a human, a computer, or a combination of both.

The future of transportation safety is emerging right here in Bellevue, Washington, propelled by Northwest companies and supported by communities, businesses, and policymakers across the Evergreen State and beyond.  Topping out our event, a dynamic panel will discuss the ground-breaking technologies changing the practice of transportation safety, addressing vehicle automation, ubiquitous data collection with machine vision and analytics, and the evolving science of predictive crash modeling and countermeasures.  This panel will set the stage as we look toward the future of vehicle automation and safety assurance by reflecting on the Eastside’s latest autonomous vehicles policy initiatives. Join us for our ACES Northwest Network Signature Event and see what’s next in transportation safety!
